BIO
Valeria Yscava is an artist and researcher who uses the camera to reconstruct the sense of wholeness in a fragmented world. Having experienced multiple shifts in geography, profession, and community, she focuses her practice on the mechanics of adaptation.
Her work serves as an investigation into how we reassemble our identity after a total life disruption. Through performative photography and the study of the mundane, Valeria documents the traces and gestures that remain when "home" is no longer a physical place. Her mission is to transform the subjective pain of displacement into a universal ritual of reconciliation, providing a path toward integrity for anyone living between cultures.
